Foodstuff

Next to clean drinking water, food safety is essential for a healthy society. Production processes and equipment must therefore meet strict regulations and standards. This requires the use of advanced measurement technology and hygienic design to address the challenges associated with food safety. Manufacturers need to control potential sources of contamination, especially when changing recipes or cleaning procedures. Documented hygiene practices are important to reduce the risk of foodborne illnesses. Food production requires a high degree of accuracy and compliance with strict laws and standards to ensure food safety. Our instrumentation manufacturers deliver quality equipment that makes this easy for users.

We supply a variety of different types of instrumentation approved for food. This is instrumentation with certificates, EHEDG and 3A. These are often supplied in 316 design and with different types of process connections, such as TriClamp, Varivent and SMS (dairy connection). We cover a wide range of parameters, such as turbidity, phase separation, fat, protein, dry matter, brix, color, pH, oxygen, conductivity, pressure, temperature, level and flow.
In addition, we supply a wide range of sampling valves and ports.

The food industry also uses large amounts of water for cleaning and production, which then becomes wastewater. This can either be reused as process water or treated before being discharged into the sewage system. The use of measurement technology can reduce the volume of wastewater, thereby contributing to environmental protection and cost savings. Monitoring water consumption is an important measure to be able to implement effective savings. The wastewater generated during the cleaning process must be neutralized before being discharged, and laws require continuous monitoring and recording of parameters such as pH, temperature and wastewater volume to ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
