Limit switches

Changeover switch boxes are used to monitor and provide feedback when the valve is in certain positions; most often fully open or closed. The variation in design can provide both local indication and remote indication via position sensors inside the box that send the appropriate signal to the control system. Limit switches are an important and useful tool to ensure correct operation of a system without having to physically go and check.

The changeover switch boxes are often equipped with adjustable switches which can be mechanical or inductive, the boxes or components can have a number of certificates such as SIL, ATEX, etc.
