Pinch valve
Pinch valves are used for control and shut-off (manual, on/off, regulation) in applications that handle abrasive/wearing or corrosive materials such as slurry/mud, sludge, liquids or powders. Typical industries where pinch valves are used are the chemical or paper industry, energy or the steel and mining industry. This type of valve is designed for durability and performance. There is no need for expensive alloy, since the sleeve is the only part of the valve that is in contact with the medium. The valve design is full bore (full bore) which prevents slurry etc. from sticking, in addition to pinch valves being self-cleaning. We also offer models for installation below the surface (underground service) which have an epoxy coating and are without seats, stuffing boxes or the like that require maintenance. If the valve is to function as a control valve, we offer models with electric or pneumatic actuators from e.g. Rotork or AUMA as well as indicators.
Our pinch valves are manufactured by Red Valve, which since 1953 has stood for quality products for the toughest applications.
