Chemical handling

Many industries such as manufacturing plants, water and wastewater, paper and petroleum need pumps for chemical handling. Here, acids and other chemicals, disinfectants and cleaning agents, raw materials, etc. need to be moved to their respective areas of use.

Pneumatic and electric diaphragm pumps are used where large volumes are to be pumped. They can be adapted to most types of liquids and chemicals and are easy to maintain. One advantage is that they are self-priming and can pump liquid when they are at a lower level than the container. Electric diaphragm pumps are also very cost-effective.

For low flow rates and the need for precise dosing, peristaltic pumps are used. As a positive displacement pump, they are well suited for liquids with low to medium viscosity and at the same time gentle on particles in the liquid.
