Ships and shipyards

Ever since J.S.Cock was established in 1897, valves and related equipment for shipyards and shipowners have been a large part of the company's business area. J.S.Cock has further developed its expertise in this area as well. Due to our long experience and solid references from the industry, we supply all types of valves and associated equipment.

Here, overboard valves are used for dumping water, air vents for venting cargo holds and diesel tanks, ballast tanks for anti-healing systems; etc. For these purposes, we offer ball, butterfly, seat valves, check and safety valves. In addition, a cooling system for the engine, fire system, grey water system and gas system are needed if necessary - something we can assist with. Our valves and equipment have or can be delivered with 3rd party certification from DNV, ABS, LD, CCS etc.

We supply valves, actuation and instrumentation for well boats used for fish transport or transfer, slaughter and blubber boats and process boats. We also have flow and infrared sensors used in connection with delousing/de-lousing. See Fish Restoration – Aquaculture .
