Foodstuff

Right after clean drinking water, food safety is crucial for a healthy society. Production processes and equipment must therefore meet strict regulations and standards. This requires the use of advanced measurement technology and hygienic design to handle challenges related to food safety. Manufacturers must have control over potential sources of contamination, especially when changing recipes or cleaning procedures. Documented hygiene practices are important for reducing the risk of foodborne illnesses. Food production requires a high degree of accuracy and compliance with strict laws and standards to ensure food safety. Our instrumentation manufacturers supply quality equipment that makes this easy for users.

We supply a variety of different types of instrumentation approved for the food industry. This instrumentation comes with EHEDG and 3A certificates. These are often supplied in 316 finish and with various types of process connections, such as TriClamp, Varivent, and SMS (dairy coupling). We cover a wide range of parameters, including turbidity, phase separation, fat, protein, dry matter, Brix, color, pH, oxygen, conductivity, pressure, temperature, level, and flow.
In addition, we supply a wide range of sampling valves and ports.

The food industry also uses large amounts of water for cleaning and in production, which then becomes wastewater. This can either be reused as process water or treated before being discharged into the sewer system. The use of measurement technology can reduce wastewater volume and thus contribute to environmental protection and cost savings. Monitoring water consumption is an important measure for implementing effective savings. The wastewater generated during the cleaning process must be neutralized before discharge, and laws require continuous monitoring and recording of parameters such as pH, temperature, and wastewater volume to ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
