In addition to Binder biogas flow meters and analyzers, we are now expanding our product offering with Binder's VACOMASS® series. VACOMASS® was developed for the optimization of the biological treatment stage in wastewater treatment plants and is modular and therefore scalable. Binder GmbH has been manufacturing thermal gas mass flow meters in Germany for many years and each flow meter is calibrated in their CAMASS® calibration laboratory according to the application. The COMBIMASS® and VACOMASS® product series are now distributed worldwide.
In Norway, there is a great demand for new technologies that can increase energy efficiency, especially in wastewater treatment plants, which are among the largest municipal electricity consumers. Binder has identified the area where approximately 60% of total electricity costs are incurred: air control with demand-based control. To solve the problem, Binder has developed and optimized precise control valves with low pressure drop as well as dynamic oxygen regulators that reduce electricity costs based on an intelligent AI-based algorithm. The result is that the wastewater treatment system functions better overall and is better equipped to withstand heavy loads such as heavy rainfall.
