The nostalgia couldn’t have been stronger when our employee Jørn started restoring a Tempo moped from 1960, a time when the Tempo brochure states: “You can drive a kilometer for just 2 øre in gasoline – or from Oslo to Paris for just 38 kroner.” All parts were sandblasted and cleaned before painting. The colors used are RAL 3002, RAL 9010 and RAL 9006 on old worn chrome. Jørn applied 4 coats of Power Coat 3 in 1, and then 5 coats of clear coat. Everything was done with spray cans and the total consumption was around 3 cans of red, 2 cans of white, half a can of silver and 2 cans of clear coat.
