This year, Power Coat has expanded its range with several new series of environmentally friendly water-based industrial paints, such as the rust protection system MonoGuard. Our customer Jomek AS used MonoGuard to treat 26 IPE500 girders totaling 725 m 2 . The girders will be used as foundations for a temporary fire station in Oslo. After pre-treatment with washing and sanding, the paint was efficiently applied with a Graco ST Max 495. A total of 340 liters of MonoGuard RAL7021 were applied in 2 coats with a total TFT of 175 μm, which gives corrosion class C4.
