Interior steel and metal structures

Due to the varying use of metals, it was important to have a simple paint system with good covering ability, limited odor and low VOC emissions. Power Coat 3 in 1 meets all the requirements from the customer, and provided the desired flexibility.

All areas to be treated were first washed and prepared for further treatment. Power Coat 3 in 1 was brushed and rolled onto the structure. They achieved 60 my TFT, which gave a very good coverage and the desired result.

Challenges:

Rena Tekniske Verksted built a new main workshop in Rena Leir in 2003. The building is very functional and adapted to the activities of the Armed Forces, but due to the dark colors of the steel structures, the premises became dark. To improve the working environment, it was decided to paint with light colors.

The work was to be carried out while the Armed Forces were using the workshop. The challenge was to find a paint with good adhesion to several types of metal and at the same time good coverage, so that only one treatment was needed.

System structure:

√ Power Coat Wash and Degrease

√ Power Coat 3 in 1 RAL 9010
