Interior and exterior steel structures

The steel profiles were first thoroughly cleaned and prepared with Power Coat Wash and Degrease. To achieve the correct fire class, the best possible result and quality, the fire-retardant paint Firetex was used on the external steel.

The exposed steel columns and beams were also fully skimmed before the top coat was applied, ensuring that the columns maintained top quality and became a natural part of the interior alongside the exclusive Porsche cars on display. To provide a good protective coating and the right color for the design, Power Coat 3 in 1, RAL 9007 was used as the top coat.

Challenges:

The project involved cleaning the steel and passively fireproofing the new Porsche building in Oslo.

The structure was designed to be part of the interior and showroom of the luxury car dealership.

A painting company was chosen to paint the steel structures in the building, so that both steel columns and beams maintained fire class R90.

System structure:

√ Power Coat Wash and Degrease

√ Firetex to fire class R90

√ Full-surface filling of exposed steel

√ Power Coat 3 in 1 RAL 9007
