Interior concrete floors in production facilities

Due to varying loads and conditions on the floors, a simple paint system was important.

Power Coat Oxypaint SL Floor Primer and Oxypaint SL Floor gave the customer the flexibility they wanted. All areas of bare concrete were first primed to ensure optimal adhesion to the concrete. Minor repairs could be quickly carried out with Oxypaint SL Floor Primer mixed with dried quartz sand. This gave a surface that could be quickly painted over.

Finally, Power Coat Oxypaint SL Floor was rolled onto the entire floor. The customer varied with one or two coats, depending on the condition and load.

Challenges:

The history of Westad Industrier AS began as early as 1895, with the production of valves for industry locally.

The customer wants to do as much maintenance as possible themselves, when they have spare capacity. They therefore wanted a paint system for the floors that was easy to clean, durable and suitable for today's production and quality requirements.

System structure:

√ Manual removal of loose epoxy and concrete

√ Washing and degreasing with a floor scrubber

√ Power Coat Oxypaint SL Floor Primer

√ Power Coat Oxypaint SL Floor Primer+dried sand

√ Power Coat Oxypaint SL Floor
