Power Coat 3 in 1 is a high quality one-component modified polyester paint. It has outstanding adhesion properties and low solvent content.
The customer's criteria for evaluating the paint system were:
• mechanical wear resistance
• good adhesion to most substrates
• long life expectancy
• primer, intermediate coat and top coat in one
• good edge coverage
Power Coat 3 in 1 thus became the customer's choice, which has again proven to be a very good choice.
The housing association also chose Power Coat Basak WW for all foundations.
Challenges:
The customer wanted a simple, yet robust paint system for the housing association. The choice was Power Coat “3in1”, which is used as a primer, intermediate coat and top coat on almost all types of surfaces such as steel, stainless steel, galvanized steel, aluminum, fiberglass, hard plastic and concrete.
Løvåsen Borettslag was also painted with one coat of Power Coat “3in1” 11 years ago. The dark colors had faded a little, and some very small spots of the original paint had peeled off. Even after 11 years and washing with a powerful high-pressure washer, the Power Coat 3in1” retained its adhesion. Borettslag has also signed a 20-year maintenance agreement with KTV Group.
