Take care of painting equipment and the environment

Power Coat 3 in 1 is often applied with a brush or roller. When you are finished with the day's work, leave these immersed in the paint if you are going to continue the next day. If you are going to take a longer break, wrap the equipment in an airtight plastic bag. Alternatively, you can immerse them in thinner, but it should be a product that evaporates slowly.
If you are going to throw away painting equipment that you have used with Power Coat 3 in 1, you must let it dry completely first, before throwing it in the residual waste. The same applies to masking materials such as tape, plastic or paper.
Paints like Power Coat 3 in 1 only dry when exposed to air. If you are working with a light airless paint sprayer, you do not need to clean it every time. When cleaning a paint sprayer, the same thinner used to thin the paint should be used. Remember that Power Coat 3 in 1 should not be added to more than 10% thinner.

More tips:

  • Be careful to use up the paint completely.
  • If you have leftovers of several different colors of 3 in 1, mix them together, close the bucket airtight and use it as a primer next time.
  • After you have put the lid on, turn the bucket upside down so that the paint can fill small gaps between the bucket and lid and thus seal the bucket.
  • If there is only a small amount left in the bucket, pour in a little thinner to create a thin insulating layer. This way the paint doesn't dry out.
  • Power Coat 3 in 1 pail can be used with a custom pouring spout for spill-free refilling.
  • Avoid using thinner. If this is not possible, choose an environmentally friendly type.
