The diving tower at Risenga swimming pool has a new, beautiful yellow look. The water park with pools, water slides and diving tower is exposed to a lot of wear and tear, both mechanical and chemical.
Typical challenges in such a facility are:
Blistering and peeling that occurs when moisture penetrates under the paint.
Aggressive environments with chlorine significantly shorten the life of paint.
Mechanical wear such as foot traffic, jumping and frequent touching wears down painted surfaces quickly.
Slip resistance on steps and platforms must be guaranteed. Slip-resistant paints can help with this.
Typically, epoxy or polyurethane paints are used, which provide high chemical resistance, but in the Risenga swimming pool, water-based products from Power Coat were chosen.

Primer: Monoguard RAL 1003 Signal Yellow

Topcoat: Power Coat Hydrograff RAL 1003 Signal Yellow
Power Coat Hydrograff is a water-based, 2-component finish with high durability, developed to provide lasting protection for walls, floors, ceilings and indoor surfaces. The product resists mechanical stress, chemicals, weathering and UV radiation. Due to its composition, documented training in the safe use of this product is required.
