The Power Coat team was able to visit the Rikshospitalet in Oslo. Contractor XK Malerfirma AS, led by CEO and owner Xixi, guided us up through scaffolding and onto the new helicopter platform.
According to Xixi, fast progress, flexibility in the project and high quality of deliveries are the most important parameters for XK Malerfirma. They are committed to quality at all levels and often use Power Coat as a supplier of industrial paint.
For the client, it was important that the color matched the facade panels and the rest of the building. Power Coat 3 in 1 RAL 9006 was chosen, which is a light aluminum. In this case, 2 different colors were used on the first and second coats, RAL 7035 on the first and 9006 on the second. This is entirely possible with Power Coat 3 in 1, which functions as a primer and topcoat in one.
The project is scheduled to be completed in March 2025. We look forward to a new inspection and some more pictures of the finished platform.
