MIV

MIV dd (Metalska industrija Varaždin dd) produces valves and fittings for water systems, sewage systems, desalination systems, pumping stations, power systems and the process industry worldwide. MIV dd sells products to more than 40 countries with 60% of its production for export. The company was founded in 1939 and is today a limited liability company with around 450 employees. MIV dd has its own foundry, production and production facilities, which are continuously expanded and modernized. The focus is on constantly improving product quality and new product lines, while international cooperation, international projects and new foreign markets are becoming more and more important. By entering into cooperation with partners from Europe and the world, MIV dd has been able to strengthen both quality and expertise to become an even better supplier of quality valves.

Today, there are not many companies that have the capacity to perform all steps of the production process from design, prototype development, casting, machining, welding, surface treatment to assembly and testing of finished products. MIV dd is one of the few European companies that has design facilities, a foundry and a machining facility in the same location. MIV dd is recognized for its wide range of valves (gate valves, butterfly valves, air valves, check valves, flap valves, hydrants, dismantling joints, etc.) and trim manufactured from ductile iron and welded steel.
