Mankenberg GmbH

Mankenberg GmbH, based in Lübeck, Germany, is an independent, family-owned specialist in valve technology. From its beginnings as a metal foundry in 1885, the company has developed into a leading player with 190 highly experienced and qualified employees and a 5,000 square meter production facility, where 95% of a product is manufactured in-house.

Mankenberg's portfolio includes pressure reducing valves, back pressure regulators, vacuum switches, venting/ventilation valves, steam traps, filters etc. The products are made of stainless steel and special materials such as titanium or Hastelloy® in deep drawing and have high corrosion resistance with a light and compact design. Flexible standard valves or project-related special valves can be supplied, from large series to small quantities and individual production.

The valves are self-acting, i.e. pressure control valves use the existing pressure in the pipeline as operating energy, while level control valves use the liquid level. As they require neither external energy sources nor actuators to function, they are ideally suited for hydrogen, offshore, oil and gas, pharmaceutical industry, food and beverage production, etc. Wherever machines and plants move liquids in pipes, a Mankenberg control valve works invisibly and reliably in the background to make everyday life easier for the operating operators.
