In-Situ Inc. was founded in Chester McKee's basement in Laramie, Wyoming, in 1976. Today, the company is a global company headquartered in Fort Collins, Colorado, with offices around the world. Specializing in the design, manufacturing, sales and rental of high-quality environmental and process monitoring equipment, In-Situ has always been known for innovation, quality and customer service.
In 2019, the company acquired ChemScan, a manufacturer of analytical equipment for real-time monitoring of drinking and wastewater. J.S.Cock offers, among others, ChemScan's KOF and dye water analyzers.
In 2020, In-Situ acquired Partech, a British manufacturer of sensors and wearable devices for monitoring drinking and wastewater. J.S.Cock Partech offers its sensors for, among other things, turbidity, suspended solids and pH.
