Imtex Controls, headquartered in the UK, was founded in 1990 and is a privately owned engineering design and manufacturing company specialising in the production of valve actuation, communication and control systems for the energy, marine and process industries. Imtex specializes in positioners and position transmitters for manual and automated valves. The product range covers various applications and process industries, from Ex environments to general production. The products have a long service life and lower operating costs than comparable brands. In addition, Imtex is a distributor of Camtorc pneumatic and hydraulic actuators for on/off and modulating control. Camtorc actuators have a unique design with a specially designed torque arm that rotates between two interconnected pistons, which in turn results in a constant torque. This technology is only found in Camtorc actuators.
