Imtex Controls, headquartered in the UK, was founded in 1990 and is a privately owned engineering design and manufacturing company specializing in the production of valve actuation, communication, and control systems for the energy, marine, and process industries. Imtex has many years of experience in field applications within process control. At Imtex Controls, core values are integrity, reliability, and independence.

Imtex specializes in positioners and position transmitters for manual and automated valves, among other things. The product range covers various applications and process industries, from Ex environments to general manufacturing. The products have a long lifespan and lower operating costs than comparable brands. Additionally, Imtex is a distributor of Camtorc pneumatic and hydraulic actuators for on/off and modulating control. Camtorc actuators feature a unique construction with specially designed torque arm that oscillates between two interconnected pistons, which in turn results in constant torque. This technology is found only in Camtorc actuators.
